One month later, two to three weeks after the chemo therapy ends, a soft fuzz will develop. Notice, the hair that fell out first is the hair that grows back faster. My hair was thick and wavy and now thin fine and bald at the back!I feel like one of those half bald peodo men you see in the news, and I’m not and I’m a woman.
Thanks from a very desperate lady. That’s nearly three years and am getting depressed. Let me ask you something. Started taking natural amino acid capsules a couple of weeks ago and been using Nioxin shampoo for a big while but just seek for to know if mostly there’s an anything else I can try?
My last chemo was February 1, 2017 for ovarian and uterine cancer.

Decided to shave my head. Notice, now not quite 2 months after last tx and hair is at least 3/4 of an inch. Hope it helps you. With all that said… Let it soak in, put on a cotton head cap. Your hair will grow back to normal within three to ten months, whenever the chemo stops. Just after chemo I’ve lost my hair, now they regrows not evenly. Thanks for the article. Furthermore, I heard I have to bald again with razor is it only one solution? Then, I see so it’s not ld to chemo patients as saving these can mean a lot as you go though the hair loss.
I have 12 chemo treatments and never lost my eyebrows or eyelashes. Now this website gave lots of good info. I wear a hat when home and a wig when out. I especially appreciated the pictures of hair growth at different stages. I was hoping you received an answer to this post. Although, I am 2 months post chemo, and two weeks post radiation.
