I still consider that Bupropion therapy had something to do with my hair loss.
I decided to stop taking this medication and noticed that I also stopped losing my hair.

I see these websites with women saying it has happened to them. It still feels thin but at least it’s not all over the floor. I did start back at a lower dose, and have not had any problems like before. With that said, now my hair is falling out again, more so than before. Yes, that’s right! We are all beautiful, I was on Wellbutrin for 9 months. Basically, I feel like my choice was not only a perfect one for me physically, mentally and emotionally, I’m quite sure I also do not feel as lightheaded everyday. That all started after taking Wellbutrin as well. I don’t need to take it though as I know it is what was causing my hair loss! I love my Wellbutrin. Seriously. I am at a loss now as to what I must do. I have seen a doctor and she has prescribed Rogain and a steroid liquid gether with steroid shots.
Far I am pleased with my choice to stop taking the Wellbutrin.
The icing on the cake was when a wheel on my work chair broke.
I have spent over $ 5000 dot 00 for treatment at the Hair Club as the VA does not offer any kinds of conditions types. I started experiencing hair loss a few months ago. My doctor was not surprised, I am very prone to after effects. Known I haven’t used any dye for had been my weight. Although, she suggested that I suffer from female hair loss unrelated to anything specific.
Only 150mg once a day. Anyways, I’m still going through this. On p of this, can see how I do still need it, I am fully off for 2 weeks now. Then, I’m a 25 year old female so this horrified me and still is horrifying me. Now look. I have also noticed I have about 2x the energy versus being on it, that is a plus. Against my doctors advice, I stopped the medication. Usually, it helps my mood stay stable. I was on the 150 XL, generic version. That said, it didn’t concern me would fall out. I’ve always had thick hair.
With that said, this past Friday I woke up with handfuls of hair.

I was removing redundant weight excessive cutting down the excessive slimming working out with the higher dose and now I gained it back and I have not changed my eating habits. I am choosing to start weaning myself off the drug and hopefully I can report back that things go back to normal, I don’t really ought to be on the drug, I do not have severe depression. Ladies, be warned that if you are on Lamictal as well this can be contributing. I have been using Wellbutrin for about ‘3 4’ months now, and during this last month I’ve noticed my hair is falling out. I did notice quite a few hair in the shower and when I pulled my hair in a ponytail it felt thinner. Doctor has weaned me off Wellbutrin. Air dry everyday. At the time my scalp burned for the first time ever in I started losing loads of hair.
I noticed the p of my hair is thinning so bad that if I hold my hair back as if doing a pony tail only looser, I actually can see right through my hair!
This has not solved the issue.
I usually only choose a haircut about twice a year, and that’s how healthy my hair is. Normally, I started this medication to quit smoking, and it has worked for that, I was smoke free for 5 days but when my script is up after the month I shall not be continuing it. I can’t even believe I found this site. Certainly, at the sides of my hair where it first started thinning I have TONS of greyish hair! By the way I am suspecting that it’s the Wellbutrin, I don’t dye my hair. Basically I very rarely use heat on it. I started taking 150mg generic Wellbutrin on 27.It had been about a week and a half and I am having startling hair loss. At first I connected it to Lamictal which can also cause hair loss, it ok me a while to connect it to my medications.
I also lowered my dose of Lamictal, he suggested using Hair Essentials, a herbal remedy.
It doesn’t show as long as I always wear my hair down so I brushed it off, I was looking in the mirror and noticed the sides of my hair were thinning.
My boss replaced all the wheels and showed me all the hair wrapped up in the wheels. I had my ambition back, To be honest I had my energy back, I felt great. Thought it was just time for a hair cut, started having dead ends. It has definitely lessened, while I am still losing hair. By the way I didn’t think anything of it, over a period of a few months I noticed I was losing more hair thought it was just the normal hair loss you experience after pregnancy. I have had tests done again and nothing was found.
I started taking prenatals again and still nothing has changed, I ld my male doctor and definitely he said it has nothing to do with Wellbutrin and maybe I have low iron.

I’ll take any ideas to fat loss part) I ok a very low dose of Bupropion, that is a generic brand of Wellbutrin, for 9 months. For instance, it’s interesting. I just got my hair done last week and the hair dresser confirmed that I am getting all my hair back. Generally, I don’t need to give up the Wellbutrin but I don’t need to wear a wig either. Shampoo and conditioner seem to make my hair feel thicker, for sure. It has not regenerated. I’ve been on a thyroid drug and she had me do a blood test to see if that can contribute to it. Consequently, So it’s sad, as long as this medication was very helpful in reducing my depression and anxiety.

I’ve lost very much hair that I am forced to cut my hair twice in the last 8 months. He was wrong but unfortunately I can’t seem to convince him to switch it. I’m very annoyed to say the least.
